Meet the Aspen Construction Team

Eric Nordgren
Owner

The entrepreneurial zeal Eric brought to the table took a tree work company he started during college in 1972 and evolved it into a mature construction company. Aspen Construction Services, Inc., is established and known in the Topeka region today for their consistency, honesty, and good work, in large part due to the nurturing Eric did during the decades he spent running the day to day operations. In 2003, Eric slowly passed the baton of estimator and project manager to Bren, who he mentored in the processes and culture of Aspen. Today, Eric serves as CFO and advisor to Bren and Hans.

Bren Nordgren
Manager

Bren grew up frequenting construction sites from an early age, exposed to the processes of construction, and learning about the dynamics between clients, subcontractors and contractor. He went on to earn his degree in business management from Ottawa University. Bren has served several roles in Aspen, from carpenter in the field to chief estimator. He has served as estimator since 2003 and is especially talented with finding creative solutions for customers.

Hans Nordgren
Manager

From childhood, Hans has been exposed to the processes of residential construction by making frequent visits to jobsites and working alongside his father, Eric, on their own construction projects. Through the years, Hans has built tiny houses and completely remodeled several of his own historic homes, specializing as a finish trim carpenter. In 2020, he joined the Aspen management team, and enjoys working with customers from the dreaming phase all the way through completion.
